Amy’s dream of wedding and event planning started many years ago. She didn’t even realize at the time
that this would be her passion. As a child her grandmother had a catering and wedding cake business
that Amy assisted with and enjoyed immensely. At the age of 18 she enlisted into the United States Air
Force. Throughout her 20-year career, she was selected by her leadership to put on several large events
that had over 200+ attendees. Amy always loved the challenge, but she especially liked to see how
everything came together but most importantly everyone had a good time. It wasn’t until her oldest
son got married in 2022 that everything came back full circle, and she realized that wedding and event
planning was her true passion. At first Amy got her wedding planner certification so she could help her
son and his fiancé save a few dollars. She saw how expenses for weddings add up quickly and wanted to
help others save some money as well. She just started off with doing weddings for friends and family
and very quickly others started to reach out. Every wedding she did her family assisted with. She
enjoyed watching her kids all work together, but what she enjoyed the most was seeing that all of them
had a good time together while making some special brides’ dream weddings come true. Amy believes
it is her mission to gain the trust of each couple to alleviate the stress that often comes with wedding
planning. One of the best perks of being a wedding planner is meeting wonderful people. It is a joy for
us to collaborate with a couple and their families to create the wedding of their dreams. Every couple is
unique and special to us and planning their wedding becomes personal to our team. We believe that it
is an honor to be apart of such an integral part of each couple’s wedding day. We also love the
relationships we develop through the process and many friendships are created well after the day of the
wedding.
